Default S40 T4 or 2.0T

right, well i sold my 2.0T to my dad when i picked up my company car in january, but the dirty derv DS3 doesnt really make me smile like the volvo used to so i am on the hunt for another one,

preferably a T4, sub 100k miles but as long as its been looked after doesnt matter,

prefer phase 1.5/2, black bezels a bonus, but at the moment i am open to being interested in any car so long as it is the right price.

hit me up with what anybody has, i am located in the south east just below london.

cheers

Tom

Very hard to find a tidy 2.0T and even harder to find a T4 these days.

Most have been abused or are a bit shabby/ rust buckets

so true... I saw a stunning 2002 T4 Sport Lux with xenons, arcadias, in black with black leather at a petrol station a few months back and I couldn't help myself but ask the bloke if he would sell it to me but no joy

my friends tell me that at 21 years old I should be dreaming of imprezas and evos but I just want a T4, nothing else will suffice and I will find one and its getting to the point where I would pay well over the odds for the right car, so if anyone is even so much as considering selling up please let me know and i'll make you an offer you couldn't refuse!

In Leeds is a Red T4 SE Lux V40 with a pinch over 100k on the clock for 1500. It's on autotrader and looks ace.

Ooops you're in London. Oh well... I may go look at it myself!

that's a nice one that, came up on fleabay yesterday I think, not that I've been looking everyday....

any nice ones that come up are always so far away from me, kinda depressing really but eventually i'm gonna have to accept the fact that i'm gonna have to travel a bit further to get what I want

I got mine at 21 and paid a bit over for it and another £1200 ish in repairs within the first 2 weeks of owning it but I love it. They're worth the wait

I've driven a couple and the power is infectious, so much more lively than a T5 just coz its not as smooth I bought a 2.0t when I was 19, paid half the insurance my mates did on their saxos and clios had twice the power and heated black leather as a bonus, all for the tidy sum of £450. by far the best car I've had!

Maybe Im the only one but I love the travelling thats associated with buying a car. I bought one car and it was delivered to my house which was a bit dull really.

Ive always loved the thrill of the road trip, a day out, lunch and the journey home to get aquainted with your latest purchase. I travelled 238 miles from Scarborough to deepest darkest Suffolk for my 240 GLT and it was an amazing day out. Cruising up the A1 in my new car watching the miles tick off the sat-nav slowly.

These T4's arent bad motors and can be bought really cheap, but theya re getting few and far between now since most of them have been broken for spares. I'd rather have a T4 than a Scobby any day. You lees of a muppet in a T4 than a Scooby and usually youll still be pushing them along on the straights.

I was 21 when I got my T4 and my mates took the **** out of my grandads car and why did I buy an old Volvo. They soon shut up when I left them all for dead, including a Saxo VTS.
