Mine is 2009 V70 D5 SE Lux with 115,000 miles on the clock. Bought last Sep with 106k done. So far no issues, apart from intermittent squeaky gear lever

Super car to drive though so its not a problem. Although I have to use manual to get it above 1800 rpm in 4th, or I'd be done for speeding if I tried to get above 1800rpm in auto mode. Luckily my other two diesels don't have DPFs.

Not surprised at a suspension problem at 80+K miles given the state of the roads. Other marques have issues at lower mileages, some from as low as 40-50K, but I guess its the type of roads you have to use to as M ways are better than most A roads around here.
Why do you have to regenerate the dpf if you are not using the car ? I would have thought you would only have to do that if you were doing lots of short slow trips ?

Oct 2008 V70 D5 R Design.Bought March 2011 with 59000 on clock and now has 168000 due to motorway business use.Just replaced Power Steering reservoir at £38 due to buzzing noise in all gears and neutral(like car being reversed at fast speed).Searching forum saved me few hundred pounds as obvious thing seemed steering pump.Had front discs replaced 10k miles ago but only non wear and tear issues are the rattle from drivers door which disappears if window slightly lowered and the AM radio went 16 months after having already been replaced towards end of warranty just before i bought it.Still drives and handles great and averages 37-42mpg depending how fast and if in town or on motorway.

Wow, very impressive. Have you registered your car in High Mileage Club?

(What is it with posting on the wrong forum that irritates me so?!)

MY2011 V70 D3 ES. (Oct 2010 delivery - factory order)

59600 miles.

Owned from new.

Engine divine, no issues.

Front subframe mounting bushes have been an issue for creaking, (see my threads on creaking suspension - final solution was replacement of bushes)

Rear trailing arm bushes delaminating. I had these sorted under warranty
recently as a potential cure for "drifting". (It seems the steel cylinder around the bush is not corrosion protected so it rusts and becomes detached - the cure is to replace the bush and then cover it in anti-rust gunk.

Tailgate rattles.

Replaced both headlight bulbs at 2 years/46k miles.

Front n/s bearing replaced (although this actually means a full hub replacement apparently as it's an all-in-one unit). TBH I think it was me that damaged it after whacking a kerb in the snow - but dealer said front wheel bearings had been an issue and they could get one of them through on warranty but not both! About £220 at dealer if you have to pay for front wheel bearing. Incidentally the symptoms were a very subtle hum - half a sec hum - quiet - hum - quiet - hum etc.

Some impressive milages being posted. Just gives more confidence in volvo and its build quality. 57plate v70 115k only had the throttle body go, £350 replacement. Engine still as tight as the Virgin Mary.
