Not sure which models have the 316mm disc but I know when I changed mine and did the guide, it took the 316mm disc.

I used this site to help choose the tyres and took it from there.

The deal I eventually chose was from My Tyres (see links in my previous post). The cheapest deal I found was from Wheel base alloys

Cheers, have emailed mytyres and asked for a quote on their cheapest alloys and Nokian tyres. Volvo quoted £275 for each wheel and tyre but mytyres will undoubtedly beat that price. Might then go back to Volvo to see if they can match it but doubt they will.

Is that £275 for a steel wheel or an alloy one? I know the official Volvo Winter wheel package cost £1,500

Alloy - the Pandora range, with Nokian tyres. Price's inclusive of balancing and valve etc but I suspect this does not include fitting costs. Still, this works out somewhat cheaper than the £1500 you were quoted.

Part number is 31399636.

I'm sure in past winters that Volvo did a winter wheel (17" alloys) and tyres offer for about £1,100 to £1,150.

I'd always have genuine Volvo rims over aftermarket ones.

Quite like those Pandoras!

Note it says not suitable for cars with 17.5" brakes!!!!

Thought this was useful too

Had email from Mytyres regarding payment and have spoken to them. Something doesn't seem quite right. My credit card company says payment was authorised and then My Tyres cancelled it. I got email from Mytyres asking for bank transfer direct to their bank. It all sounds too iffy to me so have cancelled the order.

I will give my local Volvo dealer a ring in the morning about the Pandoras.

I've heard of this happening before, it seems to happen on transactions over £500, triggerred by their anti-fraud systems. I've ordered tyres from them a number of times and have no concerns.
