I'm not a million miles from Leeds and I know a couple of others here are fairly close.

Young Steve with the 244DL lives in Wakefield and organised a successful lunchtime/afternoon pub meet for RWD Volvos las summer. I think T5D5 also have Yorkshire meets in the Rishworth area (between Halifax and Saddleworth) from time to time.

Depending on when it is, I'd be up for coming along in one of my cars.

Pete

Hi, and yes, as Pete says I organised an afternoon meet at the Kirklands hotel in Outwood (near wakefield). I just had a word at the pub and asked them to book us in for the day and reserve the front carpark and an area to one side in the pub.

Publicise it well and get people to put their names down on a list so your can organize numbers and parking space correctly and it should be a good meet!

I was just about to say I would come along if someone could give me a lift, but then I remembered that (unlike that last 16 years!!) ive got a moped so could get there myself as long as its over the wakefield side of leeds and reasonably easy to get to. Im sure I could sort out a lift from someone or other though if thats not the case...

Steve

Hiya, I'm up for a meeting although I'm 45 miles south of Leeds, I don't have incredibly old Volvo's but do have some 440/460 spares, currently selling W reg V70 Classsic on LPG and running a 2002 S60T on LPG, cheers, Paul.

You dont need an old volvo to go to a meet or be in the VOC

I have have noticed a few people saying that they don't have a volvo of vintage years, that is not what this is about anyway. Does'nt matter how old your volvo is,or what it is, it's just an oppertunity for like minded people to have general chat about anything really, no need to be shy if your cars not up to concourse standard, or if its not brand new, Should be a giggle.
