It's not resprayed-it looks like a wrap? My independant Volvo specialist said it was original as did my local garage who has a bodywork expert with 40+ years in the trade.
Didnt realise it was so scarce. I'll have a look re leak and the matrix/ carpet....

Just to say the car is now gone.
It was collected by a breaker from the midlands for £480. Interestingly the buyer said that he would not have bid on the car had it not had a load cover!
Seems a shame to me to break a fine vehicle but thats the nature of things trying /failing to keep an old vehicle on the road. Thanks all for input.

Wow, that is a shame. These cars are getting very thin on the ground now, especially the two tone variant. I have not seen another one in this country as yet! What a shame.

I have two of these cross country's which still have the four wheel drive working but really i need to let one go at some point. Its just that they are so rare now. They are all falling off a cliff.
