Default Low growling noise

For a few months now I have had a low growling noise coming from my D2 engine.
I don't think its a vibration as I cannot feel any evidence of this through the steering wheel, or chassis etc.
It is engine speed dependent so if I rev it, it gets louder. It's most noticeable doing between 10 and 40 mph.
I changed the belt tensioner for the Aux belts but its made no difference.

No loss of power or any fault codes..

Could it be an injector? Engine mount? Bearing??

It's just passed its MOT and no smoking or other issues from it...

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I did record it, but couldn't upload it for some reason. I just could not work out how to upload it.

Anyway, It turns out it's the Alternator. Bearings are worn out and making the noise.

Is there a "how to" guide on how to change it on a D2 engine. I had a look and can't see a way to access the bottom inner bolt.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply Shadetek.
