There are a few villages nearby such as Fordham, Chieveley etc that take us "out of town" as well, usually the town pubs have larger quantities of regulars so aren't quite so accommodating to car clubs.

I believe there is a pub in Barrington that holds a general classic meet once a month on a friday (but might be wrong and/or it may have changed over the past year) and probably wouldn't be averse to a group of one-make owners turning up for a feed, chat and a few drinks on a saturday afternoon once a month.

The Royal Oak is the Pub (I think?)

That suits me and seems to work in principle if those interested are okay with Barrington?

We can then reach out to the Pub to see what works for them, they have a good carpark and outdoor seating so currently in principle up to 30 people could attend outside..

I would suggest everyone does a covid lateral flow test before coming; you can get them online or from a local chemist or test site.

So watch this space ...

Any of the three locations are fine by me. Lateral flow test packs are free from the NHS, packs of 6 tests. Supposed to be done at 4 day intervals, or thereabouts!
June 27th is a no go weekend for many, it’s the Volvo 600 Guinness world record attempt.
When is the BKV? My wife has tidied up the VOC magazine!!

I was thinking July at the earliest once we have a handle on the numbers we can contact the Royal Oak

I thought the BKV was cancelled this year?

Anyone looked into this further? 18th and 25th July are currently Volvo-event-free. Then 1st August is Northern BKV and looks like the rest of August is free as well.

Can I suggest the 18th is a little short notice but the 25th could work?
