Question Parking aid for garage

Has anyone used a good parking aid for the garage that works well for a SUV? i'm looking for something for both the length and width.

This is going to sound a bit old school but for width, i just roll my window down and look down the wheel arch then the folded wing mirror, then drivers door handle. If I get all those points around 6cm away from the drivers side posts for the garage then I know that theres plenty of space on the other side. For distance I use the old "ball on a string" option. When it touches the screen I know to stop but I've got a bit of wiggle room both ways.
The sensors are beeping away but I just ignore them.

I also open driver's window and lean out to check clearance.

I bought a cheap foam mattress which I have attached to the back wall of my garage. I park with front of the car pressed into the mattress so I know the rear end is safely inside the door frame.

3”x2” screwed to floor of garage, then reverse in until the rear wheels touch the timber. Perfect distance from rear wall of the garage.

I have a 1’ x 2” mirror fitted at front of garage fixed to an adjustable bracket so I can see right along drivers side of car. As long as I can see daylight between car and garage door frame on my side, i know there is space on other side. I have fitted carpet strips to the door frame too which are also screwed to my (traditional) garage doors so they open with the doors, if i do get too close there will be no damage to the paint.

+1 for me for the ball on string method. Used this for years on the family 740GL when I was growing up.

The wood screwed to the floor is just asking for me to trip on it! The mirror is a great idea - I might add one to the garage I've also got a block of furniture foam at the side, glued to the wall so i can just swing my door open with no issues. Its a couple of feet square so lining up isn't an issue.

I bought 8 cheap Ikea stick-on mirrors (each 30cm x 30cm) and put them on the back wall in two 2 x 2 blocks centred at the same height as, and width between, the door mirrors.

This allow me to line up the car while on the drive and to accurately reverse straight in quickly and easily. It's very useful as I put the car in the garage every night and it means the car is always in the same place give or take a few cms.

Also means a quick getaway next time I use the car by being able to drive straight out.

The width of the wood is the width of the car, so if the car is in the garage you can’t trip on the wood. If the car is outside the garage, the likelihood is that you’re in the car and also cannot trip over the wood.

I use a ball on a piece of string for the front and wing mirrors for width. I probably have about a foot spare length wise and 2 inches width wise with mirrors out.
I also have 360 camera.
