hi according to my code list 1147 does not exist nearest is 1139-1130 or 1152-1154, all which relate to front o2 /rear o2 sensors bank 1 and 2, 1174 is fuel adaption bank number 1

I think these code have been obtained from a generic OBDII scan tool rather than the Volvo diagnostic.
There are no Volvo codes 1174 or 1147.
Unfortunately OBDII P codes starting with P1xxx are manufacturer specific.
I have not found anywhere Volvo specific OBDII codes are listed.
However if you do a Google search for 'OBD P1174' you will find some Audi codes. I think Audi also use Bosch ME7 so these codes may match your car.

No idea about the codes on your car, but had the Lambda light on my 850 T5 a couple of months ago. My advice in this case? Don't rely solely on the fault codes.

My codes pointed to a faulty front O2 sensor when the problem was actually a split hose.

Have a manual check of your vacuum pipes and check for splits/leaks. Worth checking the seal on your filler cap too.

Yes, but notice the comments in red re codes over P1000
You can be mislead badly.
I suggest you go for a Volvo diagnostic read out at least then you will know what the problem is for sure.
