Default Front wheel hub makers

Anyone got any recommendations as to which front hubs are worth fitting?

XC70 2007 D5 AWD

I think the ones I saw at the fitting garage were ridex and someone else suggested they were a bit poor.

Thanks

PS. I was going to get both done but was told that changing just the bad one would be fine.

Yeah, generally speaking you do only the bearing which has died. This goes for old, solid truck axles too. They are separate units.
I bought a F-A-G bearing and never had a problem. I can only recommend that one from experience. I'd buy Timkin, OE Volvo and whatever Lemforder(sp?) sells.

I normally just changed one at a time on the older Volvo but wondered if the XC70 was a bit different because of all the leveling electronics etc
