V40 T2 2019 Parking Sensor Service Required
Morning all,
just had a message form the wife saying her V40 flashed up a message this morning saying "Parking Sensor Service Required". Aparantly its happened before so she pressed the sensor button and went about her business, but this time the sensors are working and the button just flashes for a bit then goes off. any suggestions before i book it in to the dealer? its only 10 months old so sure it'll be a warranty thing but its the hassle involved in taking it to the dealer. i do have an old version of Vida/Dice which i used on my phase 1 xc90 and p2/2.5 s60 and v70's - not sure if it will work on this model? i could dig it out the loft if its sounds like an easy fix. thanks in advance. |

wife seems to have fixed it. gave the sensors a clean and they appear to be working again and no error - it wasn't that dirty but must have caused the error unless its an intermittent error which might come back...

the outcome of this was that one of the parking sensors had become unplugged - goodness knows how - the bumper and rear diffuser have never been removed, so can only imagine it wasn't plugged in properly from the outset. dealer plugged it back in and its now working fine.
