Feel free to ask if something is unclear. This should be used in conjunction with the previous pdf I posted with removal instructions from Volvo Denmark.

Have fun!

Thanks for this!

Other than lifting the seats out (which needed 2 of us), I did this alone in 2.5hrs this afternoon - It certainly adds a lot of extra luggage space and the weight of the seats and frame was surprising (I can see mpg will improve)

All the wonderful storage space under the rear floor of the V90 has been lost, and you can't take those seats out without dismantling a lot of the car. The previously excellent Mr. Volvo has certainly made a big blunder here.
They're in business to make money, and the XC90 has been the most profitable model in the company's history. I wish my blunders earned me that much money.

Just removed mine just to get rid of the weight as they will never be used by me.
Took me about two hours though I cut the frame in half to get them out so I didn’t have to remove the side trim.

I did yes, I just took two pieces of plywood and cut them into shape.
Worked a treat. I then placed a Volvo plastic boot liner from E-Bay on top.

Following the instructions and cant seem to get them out.

The two foam blocks, do they come out easily? Feels like theyre stuck in thre, I dont want to break them...

In your pdf it looks like some drivers side trim is removed... but no instructions on how to do that. Is it necessary?
