Keep up the good work. Good to see another one back on the road. These estates are definately worth saving. Looks like it could be a while before she's back on the road though!!

i think i will be nearly ready to paint by the end of the month as i get to work on it most days today i was welding up the rear offside wheel arch underneath as it was pretty bad hope to finish that tomorrow then on to the nearside both the front inner wings have been replaced also the outriggers and most of the floor and the trans tunnel the petrol tank has been removed and the spare wheel well has been deepened to 300mm to fit a lpg tank and it will have a backup petrol tank as well also it has a ford type 9 gearbox going in it and a b20 motor with a polished head and twin su carbs and i was gonna up the comp ratio to around 9.5-1 but i havent got round to that yet (its just sitting on the mill at the mo) as the weather is ok to weld as im doing it all outside the fiberglass wings are ok but they needed quite a bit of filling to get the gaps right they are also a good price only 85 quid each and the front valence is also glass

Hi'ya Tom, nice to see some works getting done on the car, it was certainly worth saving & seems to have gone to a good home. At least that front end wont rot!
Keep posting the pics, I'd be interested to see the finished result. Haven't moved yet, should be soon though. All the amazons except the 2 rally cars have gone, still seem to have enough spares to build a couple more though, good luck' Pete...... |
