Dashboard light bulb
Hi,
The bulb behind the temperature gauge has blown on my 2005 V50. Please see below photo. Can Anyone advise what bulbs are needed and how to disassemble the dashboard to fit them? Many Thanks, James

Looks like we've go the same problem!!! LINKY
Mine is behind the fuel gauge which makes for interesting night time driving... I'm planning to take mine apart next weekend to see how to fix this as I'm sure I read somewhere that they are circuit board LEDs meaning its a new binnacle unless anyone can tell us otherwise?

I've been digging around and it looks to be a lot more difficult than just changing a bulb.
From what I've read on THIS post the instruments are lit by SMD LED's which are soldered onto the circuit board. Now if you're a wiz with a soldering iron and have a steady hand I'm sure its easy to remove and replace the dead LED's and I'm going to have to try it as its my speedo that not lit so I'll let you know how I get on...

I have so far taken it apart and they are LEDs (really tiny things) and unless you're a wiz with a soldering iron it looks very difficult to repair.
I am planning to buy a spare binnacle and swap them out. Only downside to doing so will be the chance the mileage will be wrong.... I'll let you know how I get on.
