Look into the throttle body or throttle position potentiometer.
Have you ran diagnostics with VIDA? |

It's a volvo diagnostic tool which the dealer and volvo specific garages use.
If you are handy enough I would try and clean the throttle body yourself. Pretty straight forward and there is a tutorial on this forum available. Thanks to statusred The 1.8 and 2.0 throttle bodies and air intake are identical, so you can just follow this guide if you decide on doing this yourself. Only thing you need is basic tools and a throttle body or intake cleaner. https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=277255 |
