The police disks go right out to the edge of the wheel rim don't they :-)

You really have to move the car forwards or backwards to access all of the rim when cleaning. Worth it though for the braking performance upgrade which I've rarely used but it's nice to know it's there.

The jaguar has standard brakes , braking from 100 mph for the corner . The Porsche has carbon brakes they are supposed to work at that temperature , Braking for the same corner from 150 mph ... Both my own photographs ..

My overriding reason for fitting them was aesthetics as they fill out a 17" rim nicely when compared to what was fitted as standard. The additional braking force available is just a nice extra. Nice photos btw.

They look exactly the same as the calipers on my standard V70 D5 with 316 discs.
Been thinking for ages about fitting 336mm discs when i have to replace mine, but always hesitate because I can't confirm 100% that the parts will fit. |

336mm can be fitted and just fit under some 17" Volvo rims but you need to upgrade your carriers and it would make sense to fit the larger brake disc guard as you will have overhang and an exposed portion of the disc otherwise. I've definitely seen a member on here with 336mm on his P2 S60.

na 2005 brochure says T5 316mm, I've owned pre and post facelift.
pre facelift was 286mm on very early models 305 later with police spec being 320. when they changed to the fixed calipers (not floating) it went to 316
