Default LPG fitters Oxon/Berks/Herts Best Company?

I am now definitely going ahead with an lpg fit, I have the money. I seem to recall last time I researched that the best company near me were in Herts somewhere

Any recommendations please?

Cheers John, funny enough I'd just found out that the two nearest uklpg installers are LPG Future Ltd of Wokingham who fit Mint, Romano and Ultragas and Oxford Autogas who fit BRC and Prins

Can anybody tell me which is the best system out of BRC and Prins please?

And then I am going to book her in!

Mint sell both Romano and ultragas, both use AEB electronics but the hardware of ultragas is from Turkey.

Prins v BRC
Prins has the best injectors of the two but the electronics are bulky and old fashioned however the do last well.

BRC injectors are noisey but fairly reliable. Electronics are a bit backward compared to most other systems out there but more advanced than Prins.

Both systems limit you to a small number of installers and are not DIY friendly.

Of the two I would pick Prins but in an ideal world with more advanced electronics.

But for older Volvo's like the 740, 940 and 960 then something like OMVL, Zavoli or Emer would be better as the electronics are more suited to the injection strategy.

Mr Sofa's LPG system was BRC. It was reliable apart from the ticking injectors but that's not a big thing. I'd have a BRC system again.

Would agree with Classicswede on system choice. You'll likely pay more for BRC / Prins for the install in the first place, will definitely pay more down the line in terms of service and/or repair costs. BRC / Prins installers are relatively few and far between and usually know how to charge. I am one of the few none BRC / Prins installers who repairs BRC but I wouldn't recommend the system. These days I regard BRC as expensive but no better in any way than the more usual systems, worse in terms of ECU performance and much worse in terms of complications with hardware compatibility etc. A better system can be had for less.
