Default blower fan install detail

Hi all,

I'm in the process of replacing the blower fan on my '93 24SE. So far so good, I can take things to bits..

The replacement part has two small metal clips firmly attached to the fan blades. Should I leave them on? Maybe they are for balancing.

Happy days, Skelly
