My 1st volvo was the S70 T5 at 28, 20 years ago, then, i believe i got the C70 T5 GT at 29 and now picked up the V70 end of last year, i did always live the V70 ever since i sat in the back of one and was amazed at how much leg room there is, was never to keen on the P2 shape back when it 1st came out though, but now i cant believe i preferred the P1 lol The v70 has to be the perfect car for 3 dogs, i have the seats down and they have the run of the whole back area, i love the idea of the vents in the pillars thats gonna be a godsend in the summer for them, thats if it lasts that long........

A week in a CCU and 3 stents later, I realised that I had been given second chance of life. Things obviously needed to change if I was going to make the most of that gift. I now eat sensibly, exercise more and drink less. Nothing major, and I'm definitely no martyr to the cause, but I have since lost 3 stones (20KG), and both feel and sleep better at 70 than I did 10 years ago. I share this with you and others, not in a 'holier than thou' sense, but to inspire, and yes, also to caution, should there be things that perhaps might be changed for the better. Time in a CCU may be a time for reflection and putting life into perspective, but is otherwise best avoided. Long may you enjoy your V70, as I do mine. Regards, John.

I had a heart attack at 60 - 4 years ago. Two ops, five stents and 4 pills a day for life, I feel very well and back to normal.
I have always been active, 12.5 stone, 32 waist., never smoked, a little social drink in moderation and eat healthily. On discharge, a asked the nurse - ' why me'. She looked me straight in the eye and said, your 60 aren't you? I replied, Yes. She then said, If I had not led the lifestyle that I had, I would have been in there at 40. That really was a sobering thought.

29 here with a MY20 XC60 B4 Inscription Pro.
For the miles I do and what I use them for (caravan towing) I am surprisingly not missing the performance of my previous BMW M4 and weirdly, my driving style and how relaxed I am after a journey have both hugely improved. Extremely fortunate I get to change cars every three months (as long as its a Volvo!!) so hopefully will be driving them for the foreseeable future too!

I'm 20, and I have a 2003 Silver S40 1.8, I'm really enjoying driving it so far, the seats are really comfortable and the interior is very nice and high quality.

I'm 49 and own a 2009 C30 2.0d SE. This was bought as a commuter car.
Due to now waiting on my local Volvo specialist to sort a sticking front brake caliper (seems the decent approach to go for a complete set of front calipers, discs and pads), I'm back driving my Range Rover to work. I feel much more at home in the RR. The C30 is a surprisingly comfortable place to be, but it's not been the most reliable mode of transport. Maybe I should have bought a V70 instead...

Im 46 and got my first Volvo beginning of the month, XC60 T5 Momentum, my wife does not like it as she thinks volvos are old men cars. I definitely do not agree and from what I have seen here it is a wide spread of ages. I love it, The best car I have ever had.
