Stopp57MGA Dopper Last Online: Dec 31st, 2022 17:41 Join Date: Jun 2019 Location: Oxford	Reverse selection problem Hi Guys, Not sure if anyone can help me on this forum with my situation with the Volvo M41 extended cover 4 speed all synchro gearbox with the electrically activated Laycock de Normanville O/D. For one thing it is quite noisy in operation, but selects gears well, and quietens down with O.D. Not having driven similar engine/transmissions not sure what the normal noise level is. The trouble is getting reverse when hot, not such a problem when cold. Does not make any nasty noises but just seems reluctant to go in? Took me for what seemed like an embarrassing two minutes yesterday to select reverse to get into a parking space. Regards, Paul
