Calling all Polestar XC90 owners

So I paid £800 or so to have my brand new D5 'Pole-starred' from the factory order and got the fancy box from the dealer on handover etc, badge on the back and all that. Seemed to go well enough but then I have never in theory had it 'without' the PoleStar.

Went through first service last year and then through second (major) today and when I picked the car up and went to chuck it in 'Dynamic' as I always have done, it came up 'Optimized by Polestar' or some such thing on the interface screen and the dash also showed 'PoleStar' on the Rev Counter and not 'Dynamic'.

So have I been running without Polestar for the last 37,000 miles?

Car definitely felt rapid tonight..!!

Appreciate your thoughts before I go back to dealer..!!

No, you've always had Polestar. Its just that the recent software updates are making it obvious that you have Polestar. Mine still says Dynamic, but I know for sure I have Polestar. My service is not due until March 2020.

Didn't the polestar give a RWD bias recently, that may of been done after picking up your car? Might make it feel a little differently

It never used to do that!

You might have had the October gearbox and engine optimisation software update, that definitely made a difference when I had it applied a couple of weeks ago.

I noticed this too after picking my car up from the dealer who’d been investigating the Spotify issue. They mentioned they’d updated the software and I’m (fairly) sure it included the appearance of the green A symbol for when stop/start is active too.
