Exhaust conversion
I'm wondering if it's possible to convert my 1998 V70R auto single exhaust to the double exhaust version? If it's possible, is it worth it and around how much does it cost?
Also keen to upgrade my front brake discs as even though I'm using genuine Volvo ones, they do develop some vibration... Looking for options...vented or drilled that will fit...? |

Car came with it already fitted I'm afraid,,,but I believe they are around £400-500 mark?? as for performance,,not sure,,unless they are fitted with other performance 'Gizmos' won't be that much,,quickest way to 'Instant' performance gain would be a re-map,,which my car does not have (and never will),,hope have helped in some shape or form,,,,

Bang for buck, it can't be worth doing. How can it? Where the bottleneck is I don't knwo, but it's highly unlikely that there is the first place to look. You'll see impressive power from these with only one.
So because save for a few cosmetic changes, these looked the same as the base model, purely a way to justify that mahoosive showroom cost differential back in the day. Reckon the others are right, weight kills any advantage. Might actually be slower. Suspect it was specc'ed twin not for power, as much as it was for marketing. A big bore pipe does not really equal more power, expept in boy-racer circles. Must say looks Schnice.
