Default AAOS Volvo App Scheduled Charging Timer

Just wondering if anyone has managed to get the recently introduced Charge timers on the Volvo app for AAOS cars to work?
I updated my Volvo app and found that the charge timer had been implemented (after Kourou mentioned it in another thread) but as yet, I haven't managed to get it to operate correctly.
I have set the scheduled charge times as I had done on my previous Sensus car (although it is somewhat different in the app now as its not location based as it was in Sensus) but when I plug my car in, the car goes straight to charge (flashing green light) rather than the flashing blue light indicating there is a scheduled charge set.
Am I doing something wrong or is the App function just not fully operational/synchronised with the car yet (maybe waiting on an OTA update)?

....now you see it, now you dont...

it disappeared off my 5.20 app as fast as it appeared as I think some others have commented....and in answer to your question sk, no I couldnt get it to work either....although I dont yet have a wall box, so I'd assumed it would only work with a smart charger not the 3 pin plug type...

As far as I'm aware, the charge timer (as it is/will be on the AAOS cars) will stop any form of charging (type 2, smart charge or 3 pin plug) from happening when the charge timer is set. This means you will need to remember to switch it off if you are planning on charging away from home.
On the old Sensus cars, the charge timers could be set as location specific so setting a timer at home for an overnight cheap rate charge but if you plugged in anywhere else, it would charge as normal. In this way, the App for Sensus cars is vastly better than the AAOS cars.

I'm glad it wasnt just me that couldn't get it working while it was on the app, hopefully it will return again once they have trialed it a bit more but who knows!!

Default XC 40 Recharge

Hi
I have also being having problems using the Scheduled Charge feature on my 2020 XC 40 PHEV.
I want to use my Octopus Go cheap energy rate (00.30 until 04:30) to charge up the battery using a 13amp socket. After setting up the location and times in the Volvo App. I some times, but not always, get the car to start charging at 00.30 but it never stops charging at 04.30.
I must be doing something wrong but have tried many times to rectify the situation. The Volvo dealer is of no help they seem to know less than I do about their App and how to use it.
Has anyone managed to use the scheduled charge feature to work?
