Default Eircode in Navigation

Has anyone in Ireland had any luck entering an Eircode (postal code) to find an Irish address?

(Map is 1233)

Hi Nyscot, Update your maps to the lastest version, if I recall map version 1240 introduced Eircodes.

Thanks s3t0Kaiba - I’ll update the maps to the latest version. I thought it might be that.

Any joy on this? I'm on version 1390 and it doesn't seem to accept eircodes.

You have to leave out the space in the middle of the Eircode when entering it.

Search Eircode made Ireland the first country in the world to have a unique postcode for each address (residential, point of interest, and commercial). So, with a seven-digit code, you could identify a waypoint anywhere in Ireland.

Voice command is linked to navigation, sometimes updating voice command if not on latest version improves navigation system (not just when voice commands)

Have you tried using voice command to input the eircodes.
