The '66 wing windows might have had the all chrome button, while the late '66 cars would have had the little black button on them. See the first two attached photos. Do you care what style your car gets?
I have a few tail gate hinges. None are perfect but I would rate them at 85-90%. No major flaws or zits in the chrome but some dull areas and minor scratches. Yes, there is masking tape on one that I didn't have time to clean off this morning. No luck on the alumn. trim around the back window. I had pulled it for someone else at some point in the past. Thanks Chris,
I'm not fussed which style, whichever was in the better condition. A pair of hinges would be good as well. Mine aren't bad but if I had a spare pair I could look at getting them re-chromed later on. If you PM me a price that would be great. Cheers, Mitch |

See the attached photos of a very good set of wing windows. They are not perfect but I would rate them at 90% with a bit of elbow grease to clean them up. The rivet are still original and pivot nicely. The rubber are good for their age but only so-so in the grander view of things. I will send you a PM.

Mitch,
You didn't mention the rubbers for those hinges. In-case you forgot, you need them, and they tend to be pretty perished/cut-up, but you could fabricate something quite workable from just a piece of rubber. |

Thanks.
I’ve bought all new rubbers for the car. These particular ones were actually quite cheap to replace and Simon at Brookhouse did me a good price for all of the rubbers. I prioritised new seals and rubbers over the brightwork at this stage as brightwork can be replaced easily later if it looks a bit off. Chris is also sending over the quarter windows and hinges as well. Might look at getting the hinges replated. Last edited by Burdekin; Aug 1st, 2011 at 12:01. |
