Default Early 4 door

I have put my early (1962) 4 door up for sale on cars and classics. It came to me as a stripped out shell with most of the parts with it.As you will no doubt notice it has the later front panel and grilles, this is because the early ones did not come with it.The only welding it needed was a small patch on each front outrigger, the box sections of the front inner wings,a small section of the nearside sill at the back and the offside rear fluted panel which was accident damaged.
All the doors are good and sound, with only surface rust along the bottoms, boot and bonnet are good.
The engine is a later B18 unit with single Stromberg carb.
The gearbox is 4 speed non overdrive.
The rear axle has been out, cleaned and painted and fitted up with all new bushes. The front suspension has been out, cleaned and painted and fitted with all new suspension bushes.
All brake hydraulics and pipes (solid and flexy)have been renewed.New front discs have been fitted, with new pads.

All clutch hydraulics have been replaced.
The windscreen and seal are new. There was no rust under the old screen seal, the screen was only replaced because it was scratched.
The fuel tank and sender unit are new,as are the fuel pipes.
Two new continental tyres have been fitted.
I have advertised this at £4750.00 o.n.o on car and classic.
There is also a huge amount of spare parts to go with it if wanted.
Phone me on 07941 342185,or message me or email dave@langdonwright.freeserve.co.uk for more photos and info.

Very nice car it should have a early front panel fitted with the nice early grills I'm sure as it has the rear window quarters as shown in the rear door image two I believe , good early interior by the looks of it to match so if I was buying the car I would fit the early front face to the car.

I love the black roof it's fantastic I really hope ths goes to a good home and is seen out and about being driven and enjoyed .

Good luck David with the sale come on folks snap up a nice early four door and enjoy some epic amazon motoring .

Kind regards
Robert.w

Thanks Robert.Unfortunately the car didn't come with the proper front panel and grilles,so I have had to make do with what I had!At least they are a straightforward Bolt on job if any turn up at the right price.

Default Price dropped

I have dropped the price to £4250 in the hope that someone will take a fancy to it and get it bought.I really could do with the space in my workshop.Plenty of spares left to go either with it or separately.07941 342185 is my number.
