Volvo V70 Classic Dog Guard fixing bolts?
I hope someone can help me please?
Have just acquired a used metal dog guard for my 2000 V70 Classic - the fold - up variety. It has everything but the bolts to attach the fixing brackets into the roof space either side. Can someone point me to what I need for this application? Many thanks in advance, Mark |

All fitted - couple of M6 16 bolts did the trick. It even folds & holds up when required!
Many thanks indeed to Malcolm for the heads up on the type of bolts required. |

It must be that the P1 and P2 variants have different means of attachment. The gate for the P2 variety doesn't need bolts and simply locates into the roof side recesses above the rear seat back rest.

Many thanks to you too for replying AST.
Yes, the P2 has the slots in the headlining you mention (I've had a couple of d5s previously) so much easier. The P1 obviously being a step back in time the fittings are a little more agricultural! Anyway, really pleased to get it sorted, and perhaps it will help someone in the future. I spent hours yesterday searching for the bolt size, without success. Have a great weekend! Mark. |
