The T5 does this too if you stand on the power, it isnt surprising , getting that much power down on the crappy roads you are always gonna get a bit of torquesteer, I just hang on .lol

Even my Twingo 1.2 (16 valves and a canvas roof!) had a touch of Torque when steering on ice, but changing the stern rubbers to Conti 850 winter tyres sorted it.

No offence, but it all depends how you drive it, to be honest. You say you get the problem when you are "in a hurry"...
These cars put down a lot of power, especially if you jump hard on the accelerator. It is debateable quite how well they were built to cope with it. My suspension is all in good shape and I have good quality tyres, and driven normally (or even reasonably powerfully) the car handles just as she should do. But I find with mine that if I really press too hard on the accelerator - say to get out into a line of traffic from a side road - then it can trigger a bit of torque steer and you just have to be ready to control it. You'll often trigger the DSA as well. My thoughts would be that if yours is doing it all the time, however you drive it, something's wrong with it; but if it's only when you demand all that power in an instant, especially through the low gears when moving off, then that's just a normal side-effect of having 200 bhp suddenly being thrown at the drivetrain - you know it'll do it and you just have to be ready for it and drive accordingly. David
