I have a guy interested but he lives in Aberdeen 600miles away. The car is nice but I'm not sure if it's 1200miles nice!

Anyway, it's had a new Bosal catback fitted today then I just need to hunt an airleak (prob do a smoke test) then it will be for sale. Want it running spot on before I sell it. In case any one may be interested here is the spec:

2001 V40 T4 89K Miles.
Graphite Grey,
MOT til August
Mapped by Ashok. 237bhp/300lbft. All standard hardware. (dyno graph to prove)
New catback.
Walbro 255 Fuel pump.
Arcadias.
335mm 6 Pot Big Brake kit.
Very recent tyres.
Cambelt done 10k (ish) ago.
Lowered on H&R springs.
Boost gauge.
Most of the service history by Volvo main dealer, 1 missing I think.
I change the oil every 3k miles.
Full black leather with piano black trim.

Drives really well, very tight with no knocks, bangs or clunks.
Turbo hoses have no oil in them so turbo is 100%. Uses no oil or water at all.

The only negatives I can think of is there are a couple of small dents and scratches, the wheels have some curbing. I had to replace the wing when I bought the car as it had a dent in it. It was recorded as cat d for this which is joke TBH. I will dig out a few pics soon.

Here you go, I found some on my whatsapp. These pics make the car look better than it is but it does polish up well!

What's the asking price for the car ?

You buying it gaz it's a minter shame I haven't got the cash at mo just what i need and in the right colour .

@mitchyboy it was hard when I started out I went from quite a care free life to having a spartan boring life in comparrasion, I feel for you bro, my brother is now finding his 4x4 antics are taking a backseat due to his rent costs, he likes to live in the countryside as opposed to Dover town, I keep telling him to go live and rent something in deal, but he isn't listening and unlike me he isint bothered about having the sea on his door step.

I want £1500 for it but it won't be officially for sale until I find and sort the vac leak via a smoke test. I have someone interested already but is from Aberdeen so will wait and see if that comes off. I think travelling all this way is a hell of a journey!

Also, I would definitely not describe it as mint but it def isn't the worst I've seen lol

That's one hell of a drive to buy a car even for me and I'm only about 360 miles away from you roughly 6 hours and Aberdeen is roughly 260 miles away and 5 hours drive I think I'd be getting a plane lol

I used to work til Lunchtime on friday then leave my office in Watford at 2pm

On the M1 to Daventry, M6 to Carlisle by about 8pm, A74 through the borders, A7 to Hawick, Galashiels, Edinburgh, cross the Forth as the radio started to get more interesting by about 9pm, M90 to Perth then all the way up that coast to see a girl who lived just off Gallowgate in Aberdeen

Well worth it (Scottish girls - YES!!) . And that was in an 88-horsepower Mondeo TD
It'd be a positive pleasure to do the same run in a T4

And thats how a Mondeo TD managed to do 214000 miles in its lifetime.

I wasnt recording fuel economy in those days, wish I had though as once I left Watford with a full tank and refilled at Lancaster on the way back having done over 900 miles on roughly 14 gallons

Which is about 15% more than that car was generally reckoned to be capable of. It only managed so good an economy once and I have no idea how or why
