  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Aha! What type of MAF did he replace it with? These cars are very picky about MAF quality, and many cheap aftermarket items will not work properly. Only if it's the correct Bosch item (and the correct Bosch part number for your car of course) can you start to think of eliminating the MAF - in my opinion!

I am 99% sure it is a Bosch MAF. I am away at the moment but will check the part number and post it up for verification. That wont be quick though!

I will have a look at the initial state of your car when I scanned it last time & I think I took a screen shot as well.

I may be able to come over next week & scan it again, although I am on leave for most of it but at work Tuesday....

Thanks! Have sent you a PM but sadly car not available until Nov/Dec.

I think when you scanned it, it didn't have any faults except the alarm siren battery, the same when my friend had in on his VADIS when he did the timing belt and some other work.

But a scan with light on will be useful. I've left it latched on now and not reset it
