Default Will older XC60 dog bars fit in the newer model?

There are quite a few sets of dog/luggage bars that fit the pre ‘17 XC60 for sale on eBay etc. I just want to check that they WON’T fit in a 2020 model?
I assume that’s the case, because presumably the sellers would say so otherwise (if they knew), but there’s a big saving to be made if they are in fact compatible…

If it’s one that clips into the roof connectors then it should do. My guard net from my Mk 1 fits the new model

I’m asking about the bars…

But if the net fits, then hopefully the bars will too…

But aren’t nets usually a bit more stretchy than metal…?

I don't believe that the bars for the older XC60 will fit in the newer.

Instructions for fitting the older model is here:

https://accessories.volvocars.com/en...ide/UserGuides

For the newer model, Volvo want you to remove the existing plastic trim and replace it with metal mounting points.
