Default 1999 c70 SAT NAV / RTI INSTALLATION HELP

Can anyone help please?

I have purchased a Volvo RTI Sat nav system for my 1999 C70 T5.

The trouble is that I cannot work out how to fit it. I am told that it was removed from a C70, but on striping my dashboard out, I cannot work out where to site the CD Rom (which is secured in a very long bracket with another box of tricks enclosed) and the other metal box that comes with it. I assumed it goes somewhere near the glove box, but the bracket which is quite long in length, does not seem to fit anywhere. I know that the screen replaces my centre speaker, but also need to know where the GPS sensor sits and where to plug in the power cable.

Lost really but I don't understand why?

Was there a change to the C70 design in 1999/2000? (My Haynes manual does not match the spec of the car)

Do I need a different bracket or glove box?

Is the passenger Airbag a problem?

I cannot find installation instructions anywhere on the internet!

Any comments would be gratefully received!

Thanks
