960 M90 linkage
The gear linkage went on my 96 960 on the way home this evening, car stuck in 4th with the gearstick flopping around connected to nothing, is this likely to be a simple fix or should I get the car recovered?
Just my luck, I'm breaking a 960 auto at the moment so the one part I need I won't have, I read that they used to do quick shifters for M90s although i haven't been able to track any down. |

Don't suppose you have a pic/diagram, I take it this is accessible from inside the car with the centre console removed?

Yes, the threaded allen bolt has gone which means the pivot bar has dropped out, tried volvo, threaded bolt no longer available, 2 week wait for the remaining parts, if anyone can spare one Id appreciate it, otherwise ill be hunting for a bolt as a temporary fix

I can sort the pin and threaded lock screw. Are the nylon bushes still there?

If you can get the specs anyone with a lathe could make you a new one and the bushes. The lock screw is just a grubscrew so it will just need a bit of thread lock on it to keep it in position.
