Default Tapping in for a boost gauge???

Anyone got an idea as to where is the easiest place to tap into the system to measure boost? With the turbo actuator being vacuum controlled, the old "wastegate" trick is out on the D5...

Anyone??

hi
on the 850 tdi i had a boost gauge hooked up to the boost presure sensor so i am sure the d5 would have one although the d5 may be electrical

Boost pressure sensor on mine is on the intercooler (I know from changing said intercooler) However, it only "reports" back to the ECU - Looks like I may have to tap in a takeoff from the inlet manifold, that way I'll get actual boost etc...

Thats generally the best place to tap into pipes for boost gauges. Any vacuum line on the manifold.
