S60 2.0 T S LPG for sale
My showroom thread is here:
http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=208698 Things have moved much more quickly than I expected, I was only starting to consider selling the S60 at the weekend and this morning a killer deal on a new car dropped into my lap so I'm putting the Volvo up for sale. 136k miles, MoT June 18th, I'm only the third owner, just serviced today. LPGA certificate is present and correct. Comprehensive service history - Volvo dealer to 42k miles then after that the car was owner serviced. I have every invoice for every part bought for the car and it was definitely looked after above and beyond the norm. Also all the old MoTs and even the old tax discs are present. New LUK clutch, DMF and slave cylinder fitted 10k miles ago, also a new brake servo and new VVT solenoid have been fitted fitted since I've had the car. The LPG system is great - there is a large cylinder tank in the boot which takes a 75 litre fill and gives an effective range of between 450 and 500 miles on my commute. No misfires, no switching back to petrol under load, feels exactly the same as running on petrol. The car comes with the diagnostic interface for the LPG system, the software, a spare LPG filter and a spare LPG injector. Currently running on a set of Mimas alloys with Nokian winter tyres. The alloys are quite scabby and would benefit from a refurb but the rest of the car is in very good condition for the age and mileage. Everything works apart from one of the headlamp wipers which has been disconnected. Includes a Grom iPod/iPhone/Bluetooth interface and a dash cam with front and rear coverage. Three keys, two remote fobs. I'd describe this as giving D5 economy with petrol driving pleasure £1500 Pics to follow...... |

Fixed the link to the service history pic - doh! I've just got the car back from my tame mechanic - oil, oil filter and cabin/pollen filter done as per schedule. He also gave the car a check over and said all was well. I know the MoT is a bit short at three months to go so I'll happily put it through for a new one before the car goes. Also worth mentioning it's properly registered as an alternative fuel car with DVLA so you save a little bit on the tax, I think it's only a tenner or so but every little helps Last edited by John_C; Mar 4th, 2015 at 17:27. |

It wouldn't be one of my car sale ads without a totally excessive amount of detail, so here we go.....
I missed the fact the car had a brand new ETM fitted by Volvo in 2013, a fairly important bit of info. Cambelt and tensioner is next due at 165k miles or April 2017 so plenty of time to go yet. I mentioned the previous owner looked after the car above and beyond the call of duty. He took a proactive approach to maintenance and would rather spend a bit more on parts and do the job once than have to go back and do the same job on a slightly different part later on. As an example a couple of coil packs failed within a couple of months of each other, so a little later he's replaced the remaining three so they're all "known good". A drop link was an MoT advisory, so he did all four. A suspension wishbone had the same - both replaced. A brake caliper needed replacing, so he refurbished the other three with new seals. He had the car for over eight years and is a genuine Volvo enthusiast. Genuine Volvo or OEM quality parts were always used. I can't honestly think of a common S60 fault that hasn't been addressed other than perhaps DIM failure but the car is showing no signs of that at all. Here's a breakdown of the work the car has had done over and above regular servicing and consumables: 2014: New Clutch, DMF, slave cylinder. (LUK) Brake servo (ATE/OEM) VVT Solenoid Ignition coils 2013: New ETM Thermostat and coolant change Ignition coils 2012: Brake position sensor 2010: Front and rear drop links (Lemforder) 2008: Both front wishbones Both front ball joints Both front tie rods Lock stops (to allow fitting 17" wheels without rubbing) It goes on! Basically if the car needed it, it had it. From the first owner there are the service book stamps and also a printout from the lease company detailing the work done - tyres, bulbs, servicing, etc. I'd like the car to go to a fellow Volvo enthusiast which is why it's only advertised here at the moment, but it will be hitting the usual sites shortly. The only reason I'm selling is that I'm getting something a bit special Remember, just serviced last week and will come with a fresh 12 month MoT. |

I've done the deal on my new car, I'd rather sell the S60 before it gets SORN'd as it just makes everything that little bit easier for me
