My friend gets them done at a place in Birmingham. I don't know the details. I've heard of other, similar prices elsewhere. It's worth phoning around locally.

What does these sizes relate to in tyre size i.e. 225/45R17 type of sizing please

Howdy!

Well they're a 17" rim (so xxx/xx/17), but beyond that you have some flexibility in terms of what you fit. The 8" width of the rim would point towards a 225-235-ish tyre, but you have some flexibility up, and down, in width from there. The ratio will depend on the car they're being fitted to. I *think* (I'm away from home at present!) the tyres currently fitted are 225/40/17s, and they were about right for speedo calibration when I had them mounted on my P2 V70.
