Hi my 2004 S80 D5 has been a little slow to catch when its real cold, I have checked the voltage at the glow plugs when it was real cold first thing in the morning and nothing, can someone please advise were I can find the plug relay so i can eliminate this.

the actual relay is located in the main relay box under the bonnet,but it is activated by the engine control module. glow plugs are only designed to operate below 3 degrees on this engine so that may not be your problem anyway,although there would be no harm in checking it. starting issues are normally caused by fueling issues on these engines. you could do with checking it has had all the relevant updates for the ECM done. remember the D5's are known for problems with the injectors....
