Default I found a strange connector. Hidden aux cable?

Hi folks,

I found this connector right behind the ashtray while taking the centre console out. There was the standard grey connector for the 12v and this little buddy. Any ideas what it is and what kind of connector it is?

I went with Haynes manual on how to remove the console and there is no mention of this cable at all.

Wires coming out of this connector

Purple and black is 12v rail. Grey cable comes out of the suspected connector along with three other loose wires; yellow, green and red with white stripe.

How do I embed pictures?

Thanks for the ideas!

Like a regular analog phone line phone? Can I somehow use it as aux?

I use https://imgbb.com/

edit picture down to sensible size, something like 800 pixels wide
drag image onto page to upload
choose don't delete
choose BB code full linked
copy and paste code

bear in mind sometimes it adds in some advert code, it should be pretty obvious what to delete when that happens
