Default Csi ?

Does the 240GL 1990 model have a Cold Start Injector?
If so where is it located please?

Also is there a CTS [Coolant Temperature Sensor]
And a TTS[Thermo Time Switch]

There is an AAV[Automatic Air Valve] situated below the inlet manifold. I have inspected this and the spare I have. Both have the same resistance on the electrical terminals at 3.2ohms.
They were both cold when inspected and were only showing a small opening though I could blow through them easily. The theory is they are open when cold and close down when hot, at least the Alfa one does this. Alfa's are improved by fitting a manual valve that can be fully open for cold startup and closed down for warm starting. Which makes me wonder if the Volvo one works the same way or the opposite.

I was expecting an exiting new crime drama involving a Volvo 240 - perhaps something like Morse or Bergerac, but with a different featured car, set in Sweden.

That was helpful skidje thanks, seems they're talking about the AAV.
It also seems pretty silly that it's so complicated and I'm wondering about the idea of that being a manually set thing like an old fashioned choke.
I'm further wondering if I could use a heater valve in the line as I have one that is electrically activated , so, could set it up with a switch for open running cold and closed when warm. Trouble there is it's a nylon ballvalve and I think it might need to be metal.

It seems there is in fact a CSI. It is located in the centre of the inlet manifold right underneath where you can't see it. If this is misbehaving it could easily cause hard starts when slightly warm.
I'm getting an easy cold start most times but when warm it will turn over 5 or 6 times and then stop abruptly almost like a small sieze and then there's a strong smell of petrol, so it seems to be flooding. CSI [cold start injector]is now top of the list to investigate.
