Default Start Stop Service Needed/ Will not clear

2107 Volvo s60 Inscription

Backstory: Changed both main and Aux battery. Let sit for 30 minutes unplugged after adding new batteries. Start stop service required message came up and I cannot clear it.

Spent 5 hours at a Volvo dealership today. They thought it had something to do with a cable that connects to the start-stop system, it was not. They have recalibrated the batteries and they show that they are both good. The service manager said the only thought is maybe it's an ECM thing?

Volvo Corp: Opened a case via the phone and was "denied" help via email and told to work with the dealer as they will not reimburse my costs for repair. I explained that there was no "cost" to reimburse. as we did not know the issue. I am over VOLVO at this point. They tell me to get bent no matter which way I turn.

Talked to a very pleasant service manager at another dealer who said, to leave the light on and just drive the car. Any thoughts?
