Default Your weird wheel bolts!

I have just fitted a pair of 850 rear hubs to my trailer - mainly to use some 240 Virgo's I had, and the old wheels needed a new tyre/brgs one side. What I didn't realise was that your beloved 850's have wheel bolts with a virtually unique thread pitch!!! No wonder when I searched the forum for spec so many of you have experienced snapped locking wheel bolts - someone has presumably 'airgunned' the wrong lockers on. Wouldn't it be a good idea to make this peculiarity into a sticky?
Btw, if you want to do the same to your trailer/caravan, no extra spare required being one benefit, it is a bit of a palava. Access to a lathe/press would make it very straightforward.

Hi

M12x1.75 on volvo, most standard stuff is M12x1.5 or M14x1.5. Airgunning the wrong lockers on would strip the thread and fubar the hub.

I have 20pcs 12x1.75 slimline spline drive tuner bolts kicking about if you need some, they're not OE but would do the trick for ya.

Pm if interested
