T5/R Registers Forum for the T5, T5R and R model registers.

Cars were available with a range of engine types and specifications. The very first high pressure turbos did not have a T-5 badge, they just had a Turbo badge on the back. When people refer to a T5 they are talking about the engine in the car - not a marque. The five pot Rs (Which stands for "Refined" have a high pressure turbo as well).
