Nice choice, very distinct mid 80's handling and brakes coupled with turbocharged 450 bhp and rwd lol.

1:31.981 so far, not sure if sub 1:30 is possible to be honest, if anyone manages it they'll win for sure.

The challenges have to be interesting though, a 240 with 20 % power increase still wouldnt exactly be lighting the touch paper to be honest would it? lol

i tried the 240 on the ring, not convinced it would have done many laps if i'd of used it in the 24hr race lol

At last I managed a few laps today but didn't really get the hang of the car but managed a 1'32.226 after 10 or so laps. I hope to be a little more competitive on this one as I have a few days off coming up!

don't worry, my best recorded time so far is 1:32:150

I actually managed that after about 10 laps on friday then did around 40 laps on sunday and couldnt beat it! grrrr

Can't work out why I'm not improving at the moment. I'm probably going to wales later this week for work so might not do any better...

i got a 10.07 in the 240 with standard weight and decreased power to mimic my 740GL

and iirc i got a 7.54 in an S60T5 with full power and lowered weight

record is 6.54 in a camaro chevy racecar with lowered weight and full power, no traction, no esp etc

there was a competition going on another Volvo forum & myself & ross9 kept swopping lead times near enough daily, can't remember what we got it down to now tho

According to the shot of the screen I still have on photobucket.

7:07.61 was my best in the S60 T5, though that wasn't doing it in arcade made as we have been on these competitions. That was using the car in the proper GT career mode, fully tuned and nitroused etc, I think 370ish bhp IIRC.

My record is 5:52 for the ring in a fairlady LM race car.though that was a long time ago and chances are I would have to practice a fair bit to get under that again.


Quite tight times wise at the moment on this challenge, when is it due to end, tomorrow at midnight? Day off tomorrow so I'll be keeping an eye on the thread to make sure none of you beat my time lol.
