Get my S40 T4 parts car this week. Possibly Friday.

Hands up if you're ready for a well specced breaker! Everything will be available apart from the drivetrain.

I was just thinking hmm t4 conversion for mine, then i realised you said everything apart from running gear, although in reality it would probably be less expensive and a lot less of a ball ache for me to just get a t4 really, ive bonded with this 2.0i though, i just miss the power, my last 2 cars were a 2.6 v6 vectra sri and an e36 BMW 328i sport so yeah, i miss the grunt, especially the beema, that thing was mental haha

I need the running gear to fix mine haha. I'm planning on just dropping the subframe out of both then swapping the lot over, swap any other bits like ecu I need and that'll do.

Love my E36 328i. Things a right blast with the m50 manifold, remap, straight pipe exhaust and a 3.15 m3 LSD.

Very similar spec wise to mine, mine has the m50 manifold, powerflow system with decat, high flow panel air filter, and i think maybe a remap as there was a print out with the car when i got it that said it had made 202 bhp on the rollers about 2 months before i got it, no LSD though, like the true heathen i am (or was) it had a welded one fitted, used to hop skip and jump on tight turns, it did skid rather well though, constant 2 wheel drive was very controllable, no uncertianty with uneven roads, weight transfer etc on whether the diff was going to actually lock or not. It was registered wrongly too, was a 323i, so a 2.5l when new, but the engine was replaced on a recall due to the nikasil issue, and it got the full 328 running gear, even had all the receipts, they didnt change the V5 though.

Damn i miss that car.

When i had it...

Now my mate has it, its got USA M3 spec this and forged that, he's gone crazy on it, its more 300 horsepower these days.

I hit a suicidal pheasant this morning and thought Volvo 1, pheasant nil.

However on getting home I discovered that the pheasant had taken out the nearside fog lamp with its head, so will have to source a new one. Drat!!

Not sure if they are any brighter but they definitely look better and provide a nice pure white light.
Out of stock now, bugger, I knew I should have bought them straight away haha

I've been toying with idea of a set of these for quite a while, but keep on coming across reviews (for other, similar) products which say that the beam is far too high and dazzles oncoming cars if not used in a projector to focus the beam.

Like I say, not seen a bad review for this exact product, but don't really want to risk wasting £40 on something that I can't use. If I had remembered I would have ordered a set from Amazon to see what the tester said during my MOT (tomorrow) that way if they'd failed I could have just sent them back, got a refund and stuck the old bulbs back in.

Bought myself a Rexing V1P dashcam kit for Christmas. Just need a moderately warm day so I can fit it without freezing to death....
