Also, my car's rear wiper motor died today..
She's giving you a hard time bro... Show some love and see how she responds.

Take the rest of the bumper off, get in the air and find the leaks. Source a good scrapyard and start replacing what's missing/not working.

Trust me... the more love and respect you give her, the more you shall receive.

As predicted the coilover adjusters have sadly seized so for now ill live with the slight scrub on the inner plastic liner, which only happens if you use absolute full lock and brake at the same time, ive had cars where every bump causes wheel arch digging into the tyre before, this is easy street lol.

The wobble at around 50 mph and accompanying bearing esque noise has also gone too, i suspected a warped brake disk or wheel bearing but no, the upcoming photos show why, i am never, ever EVER, E V E R, buying cheap chinese tyres again, despite how good the reviews or grip ratings are, as these have barely been on a year, and aside from the slighter feathered tread on the inner edge they still had well over 6mm on and were by no means old, bloody scary, and ive never run them flat either, these lovely bridgestones will do for me just fine, part worns yes, but from a man and personal friend i have known for years and i also know the history of them, they were on his astra for about 800 miles before it failed the MoT in miserable style and so was scrapped so he kept them, 100 pounds later and im sorted.
That is sound advice regarding Chinese tyres. Fake tyres are an accident wating to happen, especially in the wet. Regarding buying part worn tyres and not specifically aimed at you Clarkey but to anyone else that reads this any tyre that is older than six years, irrespective of how the tyre looks...don't buy it. Also always have new valves fitted. Don't go cheap on tyres, it's what's keeping you on the road. Hankook or Kumho are a nice tyre for the price. Right, that's my safety rant over...

I mean, the bumper is still in one piece, it just ripped the holes where it connects to the car and now one side is loose. My cousin has a car lift at home, I'll give him a call tomorrow and see if I can use it. That way I don't have to mess with the bumper for now. Sorry, my English isn't very good, it's not my native language.

Sorry dude its me not you that's confused. Yeah washer to rise the bonnet, but i remember there was a trick where washers were put under the wiper motor to the same effect.

I have'nt heard that trick and to be honest can't really see how it would work either.
Not with the way my wiper arm is fastened anyway. Maybe yours is different and can be pulled even lower towards the car body. Keep me updated on how you sort yours out and good luck with it.

No need to apologise regarding your english, it's very good. I'm from england and mine sucks big time and it's only getting worse. Been living in the Netherlands too long.
It just sounded like your car was being neglected what with everything that's been happening recently to her. Not that it's any of my business really but my concerns are genuine. Glad to hear you are on top of everything.

I haven't really had time to fix her up. I should have a bit more free time in the next couple of weeks so I can fix her. I really want to get it working like it should again since I have to sell her in the end of summer. I've had her for a year and she has never skipped a beat before, all the faults have shown in the last couple of weeks.
