Sorry to hear about that, but only you can make that decision.
If you do go ahead and break the car, I might be interested in the Eibachs (855) and RICA ECU depending upon the price. Also the turbo if its a 16T with angled outlet? Cheers, RT

Are you sure it isn't just the oil cooler in the rad that has failed? If it has then its a 100quid rad, a days work and flush the engine, job done.
Might be worth checking, just in case as it does produce the same symptoms as those you described.

Gutted along with you mate, sorry to see it come to that this but I can't argue with your logic. I know you'd put a lot of time, effort and money into the car after you bought it from me and it was looking really good, such a shame the HG let go
