Default Steering wheel angle sensor fixed for free

I've been having the common issues with the steering wheel angle sensor fault for a while now. I thought it was odd most people get it on right hand lock like mine. Mine was always first thing in the morning too and then OK for the rest of the day.
Got me thinking it was caused by a voltage drop / resistance across the sensor. And it was going over a threshold reading turning to the right..

I disconnected the battery and then unplugged / plugged the steering wheel angle sensor back in a few times to clean the pins up if they were a little dirty. Connected the battery and now after a few days of testing, no light at all and it was coming on without fail every morning..

Worth a try if you are having the same issue.
