240GLT estate 2.3l 1987 revised ad.

I've started a new thread for this as I've now got a set of good photos
Hoping for around £300 but open to offers, or any advice appreciated! Its a good v.reliable car and obv. I'd rather sell complete than break / scrap - but if not, any interest for parts?

1987, 185k, 2.3 petrol injection, 5 speed manual. Good overall condition, regularly serviced, recent new alternator, battery, rear exhaust, good cloth interior (sorry leather was replaced!). Also replaced starter, rear shocks, suspension bushes. MOT due v.soon - it will likely need new front exhaust (currently patched) but no known other issues. Has some light scratches re age, and a little welding has been done underneath, but nothing major. Has extra fold away seats in boot, towbar and full electrics (not shown in photos), full set of alloy wheels.

Selling as I now have a diesel 850, otherwise would keep - its been in daily use as our main car for 7 years, and well cared for.

MOT almost up - 7th September - so can be driven away legally in the next few days! (Is taxed beyond that, need to negotiate separately).

This is a good car for the money.
Lucky your in Coventry as that is where I'd be sent if I bought another volvo!

WOW nice looking motor you have there! I always wanted The gun metal grey GLT with 2.3litre and five speed box.And I'm very tempted,,,,BUT I can't own all of them,,,I already have two cars on the road and another as a project(1991 240SE,1990 740GLE and project 1991 240SE,Not to mention two spares cars)
Must resist must resist damn the volvo curse!

Good luck with the sale anyway.
I'm off to sulk now...
