Default 240 GLT Fuel Pump

Hi,
I have a very noisy but still working main fuel pump ( outside the tank) this is a bosch

I had a the same problem a few years back with a 240 glt replaced fuel pump with one from a breakers yard same as the origonal eventually changed fuse to the main pump 25 amp i think the origonal had not blown but was like powder worth a try for the sake of a ten pence fuse.

Thanks Scally,
I will check that fuse tomorrow but I seem to have the noise when I tested the pump in the vice with a power feed to it.

Thanks again McO
