Default B20b oil light

Hi,I have just noticed that the wire to the oil pressure sensor is missing. The sensor is located on the block just behind where the manifold joins the ex pipe. where should the wire exit the bulkhead and what color should it be. I would like to re connect it for obvious reasons. my wiring diagram is blurry and difficult to follow.

Does that mean that your oil light comes on with the ignition and stays on? Has it ever worked? I don't know where it comes out of the dash on the PV but a long stray wire should be fairly obvious. Usually red I think. If it is shorted to earth then the oil light will not show.

The Oil Pressure Switch Wire is Black and comes out of the engine bay wiring harness. It normally has a plastic cover over the Black wire both of which can become very brittle and parts and fall off so you may have a short wire hanging down the back of the bulkhead.
